Paper 2 Film Mission is to provide a film technology program for student ages 12 to 17. This program is designed to give students a creative outlet while honing new technological skills in media. Our mission is to capture our youth attention through film technology and multimedia by educating them on the fundamentals of developing and writing original script for film.

This year our Goal is to organize a successful film technology class, a 8 week program that gives teenagers an opportunity to write, produce, shoot and edit a film. We achieved this goal this past summer with From Paper2Film project. What are your organization’s primary goals to be achieved next year? Our primary goal is to merge with other art organization in the creative process of movie making. This field is growing rapidly in this state. Our students need to be prepared and skilled to become the next innovators in this genre which in return will build this economy in this community.

Program Description

Paper 2 Film Program will enable students 12-17 to enhance their creativity, self- expression, and self-esteem by integrating film technology as an outlet to produce a film. This program will provide a general curriculum on how to take a script from paper to film. The creative process will incorporate writing and visual arts by using various technologies such as computers, editing software, and cameras. This program will consist of an twelve week track to complete their Script to Screen project. In completion of the program the students will been exposed to the world that influenced them the most. Students will increase self confidence and knowledge, which will assist them in obtaining future opportunities.
